Add high-speed analog and digital I/O to any PC with a USB port

ACCES I/O Products, Inc., has announced a new USB-based data acquisition product, the DAQ-PACK. The DAQ-PACK Series is a highly integrated multifunction data acquisition and control system.

With the DAQ-PACK, you can add portable high-speed analog and digital I/O capabilities to any PC or embedded system with a USB port. Engineers can use the DAQ-PACK to perform signal conditioning such as RC filtering, current inputs, RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) measurement, bridge completion, thermocouple break detection, voltage dividers, small signal inputs, and sensor excitation voltage supply. The DAQ-PACK can provide sustained sampling speeds up to 500kHz for 32, 64, 96, or 128 single-ended or differential analog inputs. For 128 channels, the enclosure dimensions are 4.6" x 3.6" x 4.6".

You can group up to eight channels at a time with the DAQ-PACK, and configure each channel independently through software to set different input ranges. Additional features include two 16-bit analog outputs, 16 high-current digital I/O lines, and a programmable 16-bit counter.

ACCES I/O Products is offering advanced calibration models which include a real-time internal autocalibration system that enables users to compensate for offset/gain errors to achieve more accurate readings. Oversampling data converters provide for reduced noise.

The DAQ-PACK is packaged in a gold-zinc plated industrial enclosure. Prices start at $872, depending on model, and includes enclosure, power supply and USB cable.
